Parish Activities
Parish Luncheon
Our monthly luncheon is usually on the 1st Sunday of the month, but does vary from time to time, SO watch the above area "Upcoming Events & Receptions" for changes or details.
Lamb's Sunday
Every third Sunday of each month will be our "Lamb's Sunday." This will include a children's sermon and age-appropriate liturgy as part of the 10:30am Mass. Then, there will also be an activity planned each month for that afternoon which will be gearted toward the younger set, but where everyone is welcomed and encouraged to participate.
EYC (Episcopal Young Churchmen)
The EYC is open to all 7th-12th graders and their friends. They and their sponsors usually meet on Sunday evenings and have fun events, discussions, service projects, annual weekend retreats and mission trips.
Men’s Association
The Men’s Association meets on the third Tuesday of the month with dinner, fellowship and planning. They host the annual Mardi Gras and fish fry.
ECW (Episcopal Church Women)
The ECW meets on the third Saturday of the month at 10:30am and is open to all women in the church. They plan outreach ministries, host speakers, perform various ministries for the ongoing life of the parish, and enjoy good fellowship together.
Nursery
The nursery is well equipped and supervised, providing a sweet and wonderful safe place for our young children during Sunday mornings and other special events.
Small Groups
Small groups of 6 to 8 persons meet on a weekly basis in parishioner’s homes, hosting study time, prayer and fellowship. The small groups are much like families that provide superior support, love and fellowship to each other throughout the year.
Foyer Dinner Groups
Designed to help our congregation get to know people who might be outside their circle of acquaintanceship, these groups are formed on an approximate 3-4 month rotaton schedule. Sign-up sheets are placed at the back of the church and also in Barlow Hall. A coordinator will form "groups," using the names signed up. Each group will then, upon its first meeting, select a coordinator for their particular group. The group meets once monthly in the home of one of the members -- or possibly at a local restaurant. The host of the month will choose and supply the main course while the rest of the group brings covered-dish items to go with it. This is a great time of fellowship and bonding. Our present Coordinator is Katherine Lincoln. Please contact her for more info or to join a group.
Vacation Bible School
Every summer there is a week-long vacation Bible school for our youngest children.
