Choir Rehearsals Resume, Thurs, Aug 18
St. John’s Chancel and Bell Choirs will resume weekly rehearsals starting Thursday, Aug 18th. Bell Choir meets at 6:00 pm in the sanctuary and Chancel Choir begins at 7:00 in the music room. If you are interested in joining the choir this fall, or would like more info, please see Alan Potts.
Wednesday Evening Bible Resumes, Sept 7th
Wednesday night Bible Study will resume on Sept 7th with a study on the Old Testament Wisdom literature. We will look at selections of Job, the Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs, the Book of Wisdom and Ecclesiasticus. Proverbs 3:19 and 4:7 say that God has embedded wisdom in
the world, it is found in the designs of nature, and we are challenged by our inquiring and discerning mind to seek faithfully and diligently for it. Join us Wednesday nights from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.
