Diocesan Youth Basketball Tournament, Sun, Mar 19 … Four parishes will participate in a youth basketball tournament this afternoon at (around) 4:00 pm in the back yard: St. John’s, St. Vincent’s, Christ Redeemer and St. Peter and Paul. Any and all are welcome to come and cheer! (Bring a folding chair, as benches may be full.)
Children’s Choir Practice for Palm Sunday, Mar 23 … We would like for the children ages 4-11 to sing at the 9:00 a.m. service on Palm Sunday, April 9. Practices will be held in the choir room on Thursday afternoons from 5:15-6:00 pm on March 23, 30, and April 5. Contact Alan Potts or Lisa Estes for details.
First Communion Classes Begin, Sunday, Mar 26 … Fr. Estes will hold classes on Sundays, March 26 and April 2nd for children ages 6 and up who have not yet made their first Communion. If you think your child is ready, please speak with Fr. Estes. Classes will be held during the 11:15 service.
Spring Choral Evensong & Passion Gospel, Mar 26 … St. John’s Chancel Choirs will offer the service of Choral Evensong followed by a musical setting of the Passion Gospel, “On the Passion of Christ” on Sunday, March 26th at 5:00 pm. Reception afterwards in the Guild Parlor. All are invited. Childcare available.
