Teen Confirmation Class: The Teen Confirmation Class is underway! Classes will be held in Guild Parlor from 10:15-11:10 on the following dates: Dec. 2, Jan. 6, Feb. 3, Mar. 3, Apr. 7.

“Deck the Halls” Party Tuesday, Nov 27th: All are invited to the annual “Deck the Halls” Party on Nov. 27th. Stop by any time between 5pm and 8pm to help decorate the Sanctuary and Mitchell Hall for the Ryan Place Candlelight Christmas Tour. A light dinner will be provided for volunteers.
Ryan Tour Docent Training Sunday, Nov. 18: Sanctuary and Children’s Chapel docents are needed during the Ryan Place Christmas tour, Saturday and Sunday, Dec 1 and 2. If you can help, please sign up on the schedule sheet in Mitchell Hall. Fr. Klein will hold a training session for docent volunteers Nov. 18 at 3:00 pm in the Sanctuary.

Thanksgiving Holiday Hours: Please note that the church office will be closed and the sexton out Thursday and Friday, Nov. 22-23. Please do not attempt to access the building if you cannot operate the alarm system.
Candlelight Christmas in Ryan Place, Dec. 1-2: The signs are up, and the decorating has begun in Ryan Place! This year’s Candlelight Christmas in Ryan Place will be held Dec. 1-2. St. John’s volunteers are needed for the following:
Sanctuary Tour Docents: Tours of St. John’s will be held Sat, Dec. 1 12 noon – 9:00 pm and Sun, Dec. 2 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Training will be held in the Sanctuary Nov. 18 at 3:00.
Tea Room Desserts: Cakes, pies, brownies, bars, and any other desserts not needing refrigeration or heating are needed for the AYM Tea Room. All donations can be drop off during office hours on Nov. 31st, or any time during tour hours on Dec 1-2.
Tea Room Help: AYM youth and parents will once again be staffing the Tea Room. Those who would like to sign up for a 4-hour shift, please contact the Crums at 817-797-2605.
Lessons and Carols: The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols will be presented by St. John’s Chancel Choirs, Handbell Choir, and Children’s Choir on Sunday, Dec. 16th at 5:00 pm. This beautiful service was first held at Kings College, Cambridge on Christmas Eve 1918 and has become a traditional Christmas favorite in Anglican churches around the world. Childcare will be provided. Come, “Let us look forward to the yearly remembrance of His birth with hymns and songs of praise.”
