The Very Reverend William Estes, SSC
Father Bill Estes was called as Rector of All Saints’ Church in Weatherford in October, 2021, and is originally from Memphis, TN, but has lived in seven states and about a dozen cities.
He did his theological studies at Nashotah House Theological Seminary and Mission, earning his Master’s degree in May, 2006.
He was ordained to the Diaconate by Bishop Jack Iker in September, 2006, and to the Priesthood in June, 2007. He served his Curacy “on loan” from the Diocese of Fort Worth to Grace Church in Monroe, LA, after which he and his family moved to north Texas on June 1, 2009.
On first moving to the area, he spent over 7 months doing supply work at various parishes around our diocese, including two Sundays at All Saints. After that he spent nearly two years as Priest in Charge of Cross of Christ Church in Glen Rose, and then nearly ten years as Assisting Priest of St. John’s Church in Fort Worth, until accepting the call to be Rector of All Saints. His first Sunday at All Saints was October 17, 2021, and he and his family moved into the Rectory just three days prior to that.
Father Estes and his wife, Lisa, have been married since June, 1992, and they have five young adult children, three boys and two girls: Stuart, Morgan, Mharie, Liam, and Patrick. They are also proud grandparents to four.
They love music, cooking, outdoors, college football, books, movies, and of course spending time with friends and family. Fr. Estes enjoys riding his bicycle.
